Fresh cilantro plant and its powdered seeds

Cilantro…The Silver Bullet for Brain Drain

Brain drain continues to rampage with reckless abandon…but cilantro has a way to stop it dead in its tracks…

Even though Big Pharma execs keep scratching their heads over why none of the drugs they’ve developed for Alzheimer’s disease actually works!

But you know what?

The pharmaceutical industry works with blinders on–zeroing in on one cause of a disease that they try to treat with ONE active compound that works in one way!

But Mother Nature is smarter and doesn’t work that way!

You see, if you over-focus on any one thing, you’ll miss out on the big picture!

Ancient medical traditions, however, take the opposite approach…

They zoom out to understand how all elements of any particular health concern impact each other.

That’s why I’m delighted to shine the light on a time-tested and honored herbal cure–one that unleashes a three-pronged assault against the root cause of age-related memory loss and cognitive decline.

And now introducing…

The cilantro plant (Coriandrum sativum)…

Its seeds are known as the spice coriander, but today we are focusing on the leaves, which also go by the name “cilantro“…

Sometimes called “Chinese parsley“, its flavor is much bolder than the type of mild garnish you may be used to.

Folks have treasured cilantro since the days of the Old Testament and the Egyptian pharaohs…

And you’ll love it too…

Because science reveals how cilantro can boost your brain game…

And protect your mind from going down the drain!

This Biblical herb works in 3 key ways:

  • Improving blood sugar control
  • Removing heavy metals, and…
  • Balancing brain chemicals

Now, you know that cilantro lowers blood sugar, increases insulin secretion, and defuses insulin resistance

And excess glucose can be a menace to your brain!

That’s why Alzheimer’s disease is often referred to as “type 3 diabetes“.

Even better, cilantro’s detoxifying qualities give this herb the ability to mop up excess heavy metals like mercury, lead, and aluminum…out of your body.

Of course, you want to keep heavy metals from ever entering your body or brain in the first place–because once they get in there, they latch on and won’t let go without a fight.

Unfortunately, it’s not easy to avoid heavy metal toxicity entirely!

But cilantro seems to effectively destroy the bonds that usually keep these metals in your body, allowing you to literally pee them out.

And according to animal research out of India, this herb also offers some protection from the havoc that heavy metals can wreak when delicate tissues are exposed to them.

And that’s not all…

Cilantro benefits your brain by suppressing the breakdown of the neurotransmitter–acetylcholine.

Alzheimer’s patients are known to have significantly deficient levels of this brain chemical…

And that’s why Big Pharma has looked at developing Alzheimer’s drugs that work the same way–by inhibiting cholinesterase, the enzyme that gobbles up acetylcholine.

But cilantro appears to be a cholinesterase inhibitor without significant toxicity.

You can find fresh cilantro in pretty much any produce aisle–just make sure it’s organic. Spice up your dishes with it, or drink it as a juice…

And just in case your taste buds can’t stand cilantro, it’s also available in supplement form as a capsule or tincture.

This will save you the agony of scouring the oceanic online market with all the lurking predatory eyes scheming to mislead you at the earliest opportunity

If you will…

Aloe Vera…The Greatest Healer of All Time

The aloe vera plant has been treasured and revered in many cultures due its medicinal and skin benefits…

In India, China, Greece, and many other places.

The Egyptians even called it “The plant of immortality” and modern medical science has confirmed many of those benefits…

And the wonder plant is as useful today as it was in the ancient times. But there’s a lingering question: How many people are aware of the life-saving benefits of aloe-vera today?

Turns out, the glory of aloe vera has waned over time! There isn’t much talk about it; why?

And your guess is as good as mine: The takeover by conventional medicine and the splashing of the advertising dollar…

And it’s just simple business logic and  wisdom–putting your money where your mouth is! After all, why spend money talking about something you can’t patent and own?

Got it?

See, six thousand years ago, the ancient Egyptians regarded aloe vera as a miracle plant.

They used it in many ways–from treating burns to reducing fever. A few millennia later, Cleopatra herself used aloe in her daily skin treatments.

The ancient Greek scientists valued aloe as well, regarding the plant as the universal panacea…

And legend has it that Alexander The Great conquered territory off the coast of Africa to secure supplies of aloe vera for his soldiers.

The miracle plant was treated like a treasure throughout much of history.

So,  why has the plant been pushed off the limelight?

It’s time aloe vera regained its pre-eminent position in the natural therapies space!

There are at least 420 different aloe species, but the one most used for skin and medicinal purposes is known as “bitter aloe“…

And it’s most renowned today for healing burns.

In fact, a 2019 study published in the US National Library of Medicine found that aloe vera is one of the most effective solutions in treating first and second degree burn wounds. This is due to the soothing and moisturizing properties of the plant that help the skin retain its integrity.

Further, the study concluded that aloe vera is much more effective and less costly compared to the currently available alternative treatments (petroleum jelly, silver sulfadiazine 1% ointment, and framycetin cream).

Another study showed the average time for healing a partially thick burn wound with aloe vera gel was 12 days. This was compared to Vaseline gauze to treat the same wound, which took 18 days.

However, aloe vera’s greatest-known strength may also be its greatest undoing, because it has become known as the “burn plant” today–which has inadvertently overshadowed its many other stellar benefits.

And one of the little-known benefit of aloe vera is anti-aging.

To properly understand and appreciate the anti-aging benefits of aloe vera, you have to understand the plant’s anatomy.

Each leaf of the jagged green plant is composed of 3 layers:

  • The inner layer is that iconic clear gel. The aloe gel contains 99% water with the remainder being glucomannans ( a type of dietary fiber), amino acids, lipids, sterols, and vitamins.
  • The middle layer is made of latex and appears as a yellow sap known as aloin. This layer contains glycosides ( a compound formed from a simple sugar) and anthraquinones–organic compounds that cause a laxative effect and help with pain relief.
  • The last and outermost layer is known as the rind. This thick skin protects the plant and synthesizes carbohydrates and proteins.

From a structural standpoint, aloe vera has a lot happening inside–it’s like a candy factory for nutrients.

According to the International Aloe Medical Group, there are at least 160 important ingredients in aloe vera leaves.

Even better, other experts estimate around 300-400 vital components.

These components include amino acids, enzymes, vitamins and minerals, all of which promote a healthy immune system, aid in digestive health, and reduce harmful nitrates.

And with all these beneficial compounds, applying aloe vera topically would benefit your skin a great deal.

For example, topical aloe gel may increase collagen synthesis in the body and even change collagen composition.

You see, collagen is the most abundant protein in your body, making up one-third of your protein content–and is a major building block for the skin, bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

Healthy collagen levels are also a key component behind healthy, young-looking skin.

In a nutshell, aloe’s effect on collagen may well help your skin look less wrinkled.

Not only that…

Aloe gel may aid in the removal of dead skin cells and acne.

A 2014 study found that combining conventional acne cream with aloe gel was significantly more effective than acne medication alone.

Aloe vera loads nutrition and anti-inflammatory benefits, too.

Like other leafy green plants, aloe vera packs an assortment of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.

The aloe gel contains a number of important ingredients, including:

  • Vitamins–vitamin A, which aids the immune system and reproduction; B12, which keeps blood cells healthy, besides helping create new DNA. It also contains vitamins C & E–the former is critical for a healthy immune system, while the latter prevents inflammation and promotes skin health.
  • Amino acids–the building blocks of protein. Our bodies need around 20 amino acid proteins to perform vital processes. Of that 20, there are 9 the body cannot produce on its own. In other words, we have to find these amino acids in our food. Aloe gel provides 7 of the 9 essential amino acids.
  • Digestive Enzymes–they are critical for breaking down macro-nutrients like fats, proteins, and carbs into even smaller pieces for ease of absorption.

Consuming foods high in digestive enzymes helps digestion, leading to better gut health.

Some foods that are  high in digestive enzymes are kiwis, ginger, avocados, bananas…and aloe gel, which contains 8 digestive enzymes.

These enzymes include aliiase, alkaline, phosphatase, amylase, bradykinase, carboxypeptidase, catalase, cellulase, lipase, and peroxidase. Some of these help reduce inflammation, while others help break down sugar and fats.

  • Minerals–aloe gel provides calcium, chromium, copper, selenium, magnesium, manganese, potassium, sodium, and zinc. The particular minerals that aloe gel contains help in promoting bone health, regulating blood pressure, and aiding metabolic functions.
  • Anthraquinones–these are compounds that can help protect against kidney disease, liver disease, and liver cancer.

One study found that anthraquinones suppress inflammation and support a healthy gut.

Aloe provides 12 unique anthraquinones.

Besides the aforementioned macro-nutrients and their inherent benefits, consuming aloe gel may help relieve heartburn.

More specifically, aloe gel may help with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)–a digestive disorder that often results in heartburn.

A 2015 study from the National Library of Medicine found that ingesting aloe vera syrup twice a day reduced GERD symptoms, with no adverse events requiring withdrawal.

Not the least…

One of the emerging benefits of consuming aloe vera juice is its effects on lowering blood sugar.

A 2015 study suggests consuming aloe vera gel can help you achieve better fasting blood glucose levels, as well as reduce body fat and weight.

There is a caveat though…

Start with a small amount of aloe vera, as some people may experience a laxative effect (rapid bowel movement), perhaps due to the anthraquinones.

What about oral care benefits?

Aloe vera acts as a natural mouthwash. There are many studies of aloe vera-based mouthwash being used to treat gingivitis, plaque build-up, and to soothe mouth irritation…

And a 2014 study published in the Ethiopian Journal of Health Sciences stands out…

Researchers found that an aloe vera-based mouthwash could be a safe and effective alternative to branded oral care products. Plus, aloe vera does not contain the unwanted chemicals commonly found in conventional brands…

And above all, it costs significantly less!

What if I told you aloe vera is a natural preservative?

Believe it or not, the aloe vera gel has the ability to preserve your fruits and vegetables when coated on them.

A 2014 study published in the American Journal of Food Science and Technology found that aloe gel has the ability to prolong the shelf-life of fruits and vegetables.

The plant is able to do this because it has antifungal and anti-bacterial properties that provide a defensive barrier against microbial contamination of produce.

Truly…aloe vera is the “Swiss army knife” of all plants…

Today, researchers are even experimenting to find out if aloe-emodin–a compound in the plant’s leaves, can slow down the growth of breast cancer.

And…how easily and readily available is aloe vera?

Both aloe vera plants and leaves are rather easy to find today. You can find them in your local herbal stores, local farmers’ markets, and even major supermarket chains.

Better still, you can easily grow your own in your backyard garden.

The bottom line is, aloe vera is easy to find, and there are many aloe-based products in health and whole foods stores.

Of utmost importance is to ensure the products are certified as organic by credible bodies in your respective jurisdictions, otherwise, many products may be loaded with toxic or synthetic ingredients.

And if you choose to grow your own aloe vera and harvest it for the gel and juice, please observe the following:

  • Cut your leaves close to the stalk, as the richest nutrients are found at the base of the leaves
  • Place the leaves in a jar to drain the aloin ( the yellowish latex substance) unless you’re planning to use it
  • Wash and dry the leaves
  • If you’re planning to use aloe for your skin, you can scoop the gel out with your fingers or a sharp object, and apply directly to your skin
  • You can also squeeze out the gel once you’ve trimmed the prickly edges of your leaf
  • Depending on the size of your aloe plant, 3-4 leaves should give you about half a cup of aloe vera gel
  • Cut the aloe gel into slices or cubes and refrigerate them ASAP
  • If you aren’t planning on using your leaf right away, be sure to refrigerate it as well.

Cardamom powder

Cardamom…and its unparalleled health benefits

<script data-ad-client="ca-pub-3828106578819360" async src=""></script>

It’s a little-known spice…

Maybe you’ve not even heard about it!

But…just a moment…

Have you sipped on a warm Chai or sapped on a delicious Indian dinner?

The exotic, tantalizing spice that makes you drool could be cardamom

Which has a sweet, pungent flavor with a touch of light, floral, lemony sweetness. It’s often used in Indian seasonings like garam masala and curries…

And it’s also delicious in Chai, or Arabic coffee, breads, pastries, and other recipes.

Cardamom is one of the age-old spices that has been used for years to treat health disorders such as diarrhea, indigestion, depression, and even as an aphrodisiac (sexual desire arousal).

Like many spices, cardamom is full of powerful phytonutrients and antioxidants.

It contains manganese that helps the body create connective tissues, bones, and sex hormones

It’s also critical for nerve and brain function, besides helping the body metabolize carbohydrates and fats.

Cardamom contains other phytochemicals, including limonene, pinene, myrcene, alpha phellandrene, alpha terpineol acetate, cineol, heptane, phytol and more. These compounds contribute to the medicinal properties of cardamom.

Cardamom has lots of dietary fiber, iron, and manganese…and plenty of vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and zinc

And has been used in digestive health for thousands of years.

One study published in the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology found cardamom to be active against H.pylori infections, which are responsible for ulcers and some forms of gastric cancer.

Another study found that cardamom alone could completely prevent or reduce the size of gastric ulcers by at least 50%.

Not only that…

Cardamom has been found to work against cavities and bad breath. In fact, in some countries, cardamom is chewed for purposes of freshening breath.

A study from Kurukshetra University in India looked at the anti-microbial effects it has on oral bacterial, and found that extracts of cardamom can inhibit or kill Streptococcus mutans and Candida albicans, as well as bad breath-causing bacteria.

Cardamom is also effective as a cavity preventative, helping kill the bacteria that cause tooth decay.

In one study, cardamom extract was found to be effective in fighting 5 different types of bacteria that cause cavities.

Even better…

Cardamom helps in lowering high blood pressure. It has a diuretic effect on the body, which increases urination, thereby easing high blood pressure.

In one study, 3 grams of cardamom powder were given to 20 adults with high blood pressure, and after 12 weeks, their blood pressure levels decreased to the normal range.

Better still, cardamom’s high antioxidant content complements its effect on lowering blood pressure.

And the list of health benefits doesn’t end here…

Because its high manganese content helps diabetics stabilize blood sugar levels.

Research shows that people with diabetes tend to have low levels of manganese

And manganese deficiency can lead to glucose intolerance, which is what happens in diabetes…

Not to mention that manganese is concentrated in the pancreas, which produces insulin–the hormone that evacuates glucose from the bloodstream, thereby helping to keep blood sugar levels low.

And still there’s more…

Cardamom contains antioxidants and other compounds that increase the activity of cancer-fighting enzymes. In addition, cardamom may stimulate your body’s cancer-killing cells, helping to keep tumors at bay.

What’s more…

Cardamom has been shown to help slow down the growth of colon cancer, and the eugenol it contains can help reduce the risk of tobacco-induced cancers in the lungs.

Cardamom is commonly available in grocery stores, and it comes in 3 different types: green, black, and Madagascar. The green type is the most common and easiest to find.

It comes in pods or readily crushed powder, but it loads its strongest flavor in pods.

The pods contain brown aromatic seeds that can be ground to unleash the potent flavor.

Keep in mind that ground cardamom seeds lose their flavor and aroma quickly. So it’s best to grind them just before cooking.

Add cardamom to your favorite Chai tea, or golden milk for some extra flavor boost.

Cardamom belongs to the same botanical family as turmeric and ginger…

And both cardamom and turmeric pair well in many spice blends and dishes, and they load multiple health benefits.

There you’re…

If you didn’t hitherto know about cardamom, now you do!

Go ahead and sample it..and you just never know–you may never turn back.

Do the needful–spread the cardamom goodness to create awareness.

I cannot thank you enough for your patronage.

Stay tuned for more…

cinnamon & honey

Cinnamon & Honey…The Health-Restoring Combo Like No Other

<script data-ad-client="ca-pub-3828106578819360" async src=""></script>

They not only combine to form the most delicious super-food on the planet, they’re the most therapeutic.

Cinnamon has been used medicinally by Chinese and Ayurvedic practitioners for over 2,000 years to promote optimal health.

Honey is equally popular, with a rich history going as far back as ancient Rome, Egypt, and Greece as an antimicrobial agent.

The healing power of honey was known as early as 300 BC by Aristotle and Aristoxenus as a salve for the eyes and wounds.

Mixing honey and cinnamon boosts their antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties…

Cinnamon is most popular as an anti-inflammatory and digestive imbalance therapy, menstrual pain and joint pain reliever, thanks to its high content cinnamaldehyde–the anti-inflammatory compound that gives it the wonderful taste and smell.

Honey, on the other hand, is best-known as an anti-inflammatory, and loads the following nutrients:-

  • Amino acids
  • Vitamin C
  • Calcium
  • Riboflavin
  • Niacin
  • Iron
  • Vitamin B6
  • Folate
  • Magnesium
  • Phosphorus
  • Potassium, and
  • Zinc

Honey is also a powerful antimicrobial, wound-healer, and an antioxidant.

When combined, cinnamon and honey make a powerful duo that boasts a wide range of health benefits…

And reducing arthritis takes the top slot.

Arthritis is essentially inflammation of the joints, which causes pain in the surrounding muscles.

Due to their anti-inflammatory benefits, research shows the two combine to effectively treat rheumatoid arthritis.

And with the two, weight loss becomes a breeze…

If you regularly take a mixture of warm water, honey, and cinnamon first thing in the morning, they can help improve blood glucose levels and reduce body fat.

One study in particular found that if you replace sucrose with raw honey, it can help you prevent weight gain, while promoting the secretion of leptin and gerdin–appetite-suppressing hormones that keep you from overeating.

The duo works magic in fighting bacterial skin infection.

Raw honey in combination with cinnamon’s essential oil are an incredible remedy for treating bacterial skin infections and acne.

This is due to the antibacterial properties in both of these medicinal marvels.

Manuka honey from New Zealand is particularly great for skin infections as it contains a significantly higher antibacterial power compared to most other honey variants. This means a stronger immunity.

The combo is also a stunning immune modulating solution…

Many scientific studies have found that some 200 plus nutritional properties in raw honey strengthen the white blood cells, your soldiers against disease-causing pathogens.

Raw honey regulates the detoxification process, helping keep toxicity low, and the immune system from going into the overdrive as in the case of autoimmunity.

And because of their immune-boosting power, the two are acclaimed for stopping sinus dead in its tracks.

The antimicrobial activity of cinnamon and honey is great for clearing away pathogens that can lead to sinusitis.

Sinusitis is caused by bacterial biofilms, which are sticky, filmy coating that protects bacterial clusters.

Manuka honey and cinnamon are actually more effective than antibiotics in killing off the bacterial biofilms and relieving sinusitis.

Have you been losing your hair inexplicably?

Not anymore, thanks to the duo…

A mixture of warm olive oil, one tablespoon of raw honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon can help halt hair loss.

Studies suggest that the use of honey on the scalp can effectively treat seborrheic dermatitis.

And you’re not going to run low on energy again!

Traditional Chinese medicine used cinnamon to promote a raging flow of vital energy for many centuries.

Cinnamon can regulate insulin levels, resulting in improved brain activity and locomotion.

Ceylon cinnamon blends best with honey to deliver awesome results thereof.

Remember honey is pure glucose that’s readily absorbed by the liver, giving you low-glycemic energy boost to fuel your body functions.

And with the duo, you win your ticket to longevity...

Because this tonic builds up immunity that safeguards the body against harmful pathogens and debilitating diseases like diabetes.

You can prepare this potent blend by simply mixing 1 tablespoon of each with a cup of hot water, and indulge at least twice daily…

And all these benefits will be yours for the taking!

My heartfelt gratitude for your time on this site.

Resist Viral Infections Using these Proven Super Herbs…

<script data-ad-client="ca-pub-3828106578819360" async src=""></script>

A viral infection is one of the worst sickly experiences you can ever go through…especially during these unprecedented times…

Be it the common flu infection or any other…

The emotional distress and rip-off–the fear…the panic…the anxiety–you really cannot tell whether it’s corona or common flu!

The general body weakness and malaise…the joint pain and aches…

Headaches, nausea, congestion, fever, coughing, sneezing, and so on.

The list of debilitating symptoms is inexhaustible…

But you’ll agree with me it can be overwhelming…necessitating a visit to your doctor…

Not to mention the downtime!

But all isn’t lost…I have great news for you…

Did you know there are proven antiviral herbs and spices you can routinely use to boost your immunity and resist infections whenever they come calling?

Stay tuned to discover some of the top-rated and commonly available herbs you can use to stop viruses dead in their tracks with minimal or no side effects at all!

You may have been treated to a lot of buzz around Oregano…

And for sure, this hype isn’t just a marketing stunt or gimmick…

It turns out…this fragrant herb offers far more than a zesty flavor. The oregano oil in particular contains significant antiviral properties.

Studies show that the active compound in oregano oil–carvacrol–can deactivate viruses like the human norovirus, variably referred to as the “vomit bug” just within 1 hour of contact.

Echinacea is yet another superpower for fighting viruses and bacteria. It loads phytochemicals (plant-based) that stimulate the production of white blood cells–your body’s arsenal against viral and bacterial attacks.

Garlic is a household name across the globe…

From ancient India to the medieval streets of Europe…and other continents, I can bet almost every household has used garlic, and for a good reason…

Because it’s used for treating leprosy, parasitic infections, and as an antibiotic for contagious diseases.

Garlic has a solid reputation for being a potent antimicrobial, too.

Studies have shown it has the ability to combat the flu virus, the common head cold virus, HIV, and pneumonia, among others.

Friend, you cannot ignore Elderberry…

Studies have shown that people infected with influenza virus A & B report 91% improvement 7 days after taking elderberry. It’s also known to provide relief from fever.

Elderberry works its magic when taken alongside echinacea–they leverage to boost your immune system for faster eradication of the flu virus.

Are you still with me? And now introducing…

The Astragalus Root…

A well-known adaptogen herb that helps improve your body’s response to stress…

And it does more…

Research has shown this root also contains powerful antiviral properties.

One study revealed that astragalus root is effective in inhibiting the herpes simple virus type 1 (HSV-1), while another study showed it inhibits RNA (Ribo-Nucleic-Acid–the genetic info carrier in viruses) replication in some virus strains!

I know the science is quite an overdose…but, never mind!

And now…time for…

The Olive leaf from the olive tree. Its main compound–olueropein–has been shown to inhibit the spreading of viruses by not allowing them to attach to healthy cells.

Moreover, studies have shown that exposing certain viruses to oleuropein in their early stages reduces their infection potential by a staggering 10-30%.

Ginger is a well-known excellent remedy for nausea and stomach upset you might experience when fighting a viral infection.

It’s also renowned for waging a ravaging war against viruses by blocking attachment to areas that are normally infected first…

Like your airways in the lungs.

Please keep in mind that, many of the studies showing ginger’s effectiveness use fresh, raw ginger as opposed to dried.

Also in the list is Licorice Root...

It has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine for its antiviral effects.

Studies have shown that compounds in the root--triterpenoids–are extremely effective in enhancing immunity against viruses like herpes virus, SARS, HIV, and influenza…

And has been recognized as a potential broad-spectrum antiviral.

And now enter…

Cat’s Claw, which hails from a woody vine in the Amazon forest. It’s yet another herb with spectacular antiviral properties.

Specifically, cat’s claw works to supercharge your immune system, while simultaneously repairing damaged DNA and boosting your body’s defense soldiers–the white blood cells.

To crown the list of the top 10 most powerful herbs is Calendula...

Also called marigold, it’s mainly used throughout the western world as an ornamental plant.

However, its flowers have been shown to fight viruses like rhinovirus and vesicular stomatitis by reducing their multiplication.

It’s also known to heal ulcers and ear infections.

Calendula is also recognized as a cleansing herb that helps to treat chronic infections and reduce inflammation.

Using these herbs and spices on a regular basis will keep your immunity in tip-top shape ready to deploy when under viral attack…

And they’re affordably priced and easy to find…

Try your local health food market or store and you won’t be disappointed!

Let’s be clear, though…

Most of these nutritional superstars won’t “kill” the viruses per se, but will give you a nice immune system boost to reduce your risk of catching the viruses…

And in the unfortunate event you catch any…

Will reduce the severity and downtime.

And while at it…

Don’t forget to sun-bathe. The sun gives you the best quality vitamin D absolutely free.

The UVB rays from the sun trigger vitamin D production in your skin, which is a superb immune system booster.

And if you find yourself in a locale where sunshine is rare…

Consider vitamin D supplements…even though the sun remains the best source.

Take note that, it’s important to take vitamin K2 in addition to vitamin D to prevent calcification (calcium accumulation) problems in your body.
